Before and After- Master Bedroom- Board and Batten

This is our bedroom BEFORE!!

This is during the transformation...got the boards/battens up when I realized I
was 1 batten short... so a quick trip to Lowes and I was back up to nailing and
glueing it up

This is my son as we started painting everything white

This is it done!! It is approx. 6 1/2 feet tall as the battens are 6 feet tall and the board
is 5 1/2 inches wide

I love it, but would love your opinions... :)

Valentines Day is here......and I decided if a room needed to be done it was our bedroom!! So, Wednesday, I took the kids to Lowes and bought the materials for doing a board and batten wall behind our bed...it was a surprise for my hubby and I am pretty happy it turned out and was finished about an hour before he got home on Thursday....and he actually likes it :) Enjoy and let me know if you like it?
Cost: $30 lumber (used mdf 1x2s and 1x 5s :))
$2 finishing nails
$5 wood glue
$2 spackle
Used leftover ceiling white paint.. (used less than a quart) and a roller/brush that I
already had
So, less than $50 I have a feature wall and headboard and added some architecture to our bedroom...
